When I was called two years ago for my first wedding, to tell the truth, I wasn’t involved in the wedding photography business as such. But it was thanks to a well-known couple and friends, Nadine and Marc, who approached me and asked if I could document their union during a weekend, in the outskirts of Barcelona. My aesthetic and vision were very much in line with what they were looking for for the ceremony, where key words like Wes Anderson and Vogue were present.
They asked me for something innovative, out of the conventional or what commonly resembles the couples’ preferences, without a lot of posing involved. The focus was not so much in capturing the moment, but to record the scenes from a discreet and observant position, without overly intruding on the moment.
Organically, my style and vision as a wedding photographer matured and took the necessary shape that brought me here; My sense for aesthetics leads me to develop an artistic eye that encompasses the editorial concept with a documentary approach in each ceremony, guiding me in the search for the most adequate composition and capturing the best angle in each shot.
With time I realised that being surrounded by many generations at the same time; from the smallest of guests to the eldest of people, gave me equally mixed feelings that can only be experienced in this kind of unique event.
A solid communication about what you are looking for is key to understand how I can offer it to you from my vision.
Once we get closer to the expected date, and we have everything organised, it’s just a matter for you to feeling relaxed.
On the, day I will be in charge of documenting the ceremony and the day unfolding.
All you need to do is enjoy being present.
If you have come this far, it is because you are attracted to my vision or perhaps there is something that resonated with you. For my part I can tell you that I would be delighted to hear your love story.
