¿Qué recuerdas de ese día?

Un aroma, un paisaje, un instante, un sabor, una caricia, un abrazo, una sensación… Los recuerdos suelen estar profundamente arraigados en nuestra mente gracias a las emociones que experimentamos en esos momentos, lo que hace que sea más fácil evocarlos simplemente cerrando los ojos.Con el objetivo de retratar las historias de amor más increíbles para que perduren en el tiempo, Kettiricordi nació en Barcelona, España. Mi misión es capturar esos momentos fugaces que de otro modo pasarían desapercibidos y preservarlos para la posteridad, creando una narrativa visual llena de las escenas más hermosas.

With the aim of portraying the most incredible love stories to make them last in time, Kettiricordi was born in Barcelona, Spain. My mission is to seize those fleeting moments which would otherwise be unseen and preserve them for posterity, creating a visual narrative filled with the most beautiful scenes.

Hi! I’m Mike Marchetti – the photographer behind Kettiricordi.

Years behind the lens have taught me to slow down. To connect deeply to beauty, people, and the quiet moments that pass unnoticed, yet say everything. I believe a good image holds space for emotion. It makes you stop. It makes you feel.

Photographing weddings and special celebrations, to me, is not about directing a scene. It is about listening, observing, and recognizing the honest in-between. Having walked the aisle myself, I know just how personal this day is – and how important it is to feel supported and understood from start to finish.

Your wedding day is one of the few times life slows down and asks you to be fully present. What I care about most is that when you look back at these images, they still feel true. Not staged or styled, but totally and personally yours.

¿De dónde eres y qué te hace único?

Actualmente vivo en Barcelona donde llevo una década residiendo, pero mis raíces vienen de otros lugares creando una mezcla cultural de la que estoy orgulloso; mitad italiano y mitad indonesio, aporto la delicadeza y armonía de la cultura italiana mezclada con la calma y calidez humana de Indonesia, creando una visión particular y única que puedo ofrecer y entregar al mundo.

The most important thing is whether you actually connect with the person. You’ll be spending one of the most personal days of your life with your photographer – so beyond the portfolio, pay attention to how they communicate, whether they listen, and whether they make you feel at ease. From there, it’s worth looking at their experience with weddings similar to yours, what’s included in their packages (hours of coverage, editing, album options, digital delivery), and of course, whether it fits your budget. But having good chemistry comes first; everything else follows from that.

Mi estilo fotográfico combina un enfoque documental con un concepto estético y editorial. Me centro en capturar momentos auténticos e íntimos, creando fotografías atemporales para ti y tu familia. 

The couple’s session, also known as an engagement shoot, is a valuable opportunity to get to know your photographer, become familiar with their style, and establish a sense of trust before the big day. That can make a real difference when the moments that matter most are actually happening.

Lo ideal es reservar con al menos 6 meses de antelación, especialmente si se casa en temporada alta o en un destino popular para bodas. Esto le permitirá asegurar la disponibilidad deseada y evitar contratiempos de última hora.

Your wedding album is a precious investment that should be protected. Opt for high-quality materials like durable photographic papers and proper bindings. Store your album in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. With proper care, you’ll be able to enjoy your beautiful memories for generations.

One of the bigger shifts I’ve seen is moving away from the overly posed and ‘luxury’ magazine-cover approach and towards something that actually looks like their day. No one else gets your exact day, your people, your place, that specific moment, and that is what makes it exclusive. 
Drone shots can be stunning for the right venue and setting, but for me, the most timeless and meaningful ones always come from staying close to the people.

A lo largo del día, uso diversos lentes para capturar diferentes perspectivas y contar tu historia de la manera más completa posible. Tener copias de seguridad confiables también garantiza que tu día se capture sin problemas de principio a fin, pase lo que pase. ¡Todo forma parte de ser un profesional!
